I am a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and have been blessed to share my life with my best friend, Crystal Yonge, my beautiful wife of nearly 17 years this December. I cherish my roles as a father, stepfather, and adoptive father to seven amazing daughters. Additionally, I am proud to be the father-in-law to three wonderful sons and the grandfather of two precious granddaughters.

 

My passion for helping and teaching children has been a driving force in my life, leading me to spend about ten years as a youth director and youth pastor with the Church of God. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army, where I dedicated 6.5 years of service as a Logistical Specialist. I have also built a fulfilling law enforcement career, including time with the Crocker Police Department, the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. My duties in law enforcement included patrol, courthouse, civil service, and school resource officer.

 

Currently, I serve as a volunteer firefighter with Tar Heel Fire and Rescue and White Oak Volunteer Fire Department, also sitting on the board of the White Oak Fire Department. For the past seven years, I’ve embraced the challenges and rewards of running my own business, Forever Yonge Insurance Company, while also co-owning C & C Portable Buildings with my wife.

 

We’re active members of the White Oak Family Worship Center, where we love attending and being a part of the community outreach ministry. It’s a blessing to contribute to our wonderful community!
